2018 – Formative Assessment to inform Learning Design Practice Expectations • Educators will collaboratively develop formative assessment processes that: – Identify what learners know, understand can do, prior to and during the learning, and – Use this information to inform and adjust next teaching steps

2018 Focus Areas • Collaboratively design formative assessment processes to check in with learners • Increase the repertoire of formative assessment processes • Develop learning design skills to respond to what was identified through the check in: – For the overall learning plan – In the teaching moment
