Final Exam Exemptions • Who? Ø 7 th & 8 th Grade Students •

Final Exam Exemptions • Who? Ø 7 th & 8 th Grade Students • What? Ø Students skip their exam to get a reward. • When? Ø Midterm Exams (December 12 -16) • Where? Ø On their campus. LJH will host students in the gym or cafeteria. • Why? Ø Reward for already proving they know the material. Ø Incentive to work hard in all classes.

Class Average • 80% or above in the class the child wants to exempt.

Class Average • 80% or above in the class the child wants to exempt. • Can only exempt core classes (ELA, Science, Math, History) • Average based on 1 st, 2 nd, and 3 rd six weeks. Teacher will do the calculation and sign off if the average is 80%+.

Six Weeks Exam Average • 75% or above in the class the child wants

Six Weeks Exam Average • 75% or above in the class the child wants to exempt. • Average would be based on the 3 District Six Weeks Exam grades. • Teacher will do the calculation and sign off if the average is 80%+.
