Return to Work Criteria (CDC Changes July 17, 2020) • With NO documented exposure or low risk exposure, providers can continue to work • Symptomatic: • If symptomatic, Public Safety should be tested • With no testing, employee can return to work once afebrile for 72 hours, but potentially infectious • If negative test, can return to work after 24 hours afebrile without meds • If positive test, 10 days after symptom onset, symptoms improved, and 24 hours afebrile without meds • should wear a facemask for source control until symptoms totally resolved • Asymptomatic positives are excluded for 10 days, unless they develop S/S • If they develop S/S, then the time resets • https: //www. cdc. gov/coronavirus/20 19 -ncov/hcp/disposition-in-homepatients. html

GFD and GC Haz. Mat • BOC approved a contract with GFD for HM response on 8/6/2020 • Countywide response except High Point • Dispatch criteria will be developed jointly between GFD and GCES • We will maintain HM Tech capability • • On the Rescue, Squad, and hourly on call ES will provide technical interface to County Fire GC can participate with GFD on HM after joint trainings and skill confirmation GFD will be sending a HM group supervisor on most responses to be liaison with County Fire Command • Remaining hourly HM members may remain • Roles likely to change • By early fall, HM equipment relocated from Base 6 to Station 50
