And in the same way as we cannot use other peoples work, our work is protected by copyright as well, so other people cannot steal my work, or use it for themselves

Defamation How would Defamation impact your role as a writer for your double page

Defamation How would Defamation impact your role as a writer for your double page spread and for your front cover? Defamation basically only makes it so that we cannot say anything bad about someone that could potentially have a negative impact on that persons reputation, or slander their character, however there is no need to defame someone in my magazine so this should be avoided easily. Such as how currently there is a story about the rapper 21 savage getting deported from America after overstaying their visa, and being sent back to England, so if I were to write about this in my magazine, I would have to be sure the information I was providing about him was true.

Representation Explain what representation means for you as a writer? As a writer I have to be aware of representation and how people are represented in my articles through the way I write about them. as representing somebody or a group of people in a bad way could lead to problems for our article or even potentially somebody we wrote about could not be happy with our representation of them and try to sue us for slander Give examples of representation? Making sure that groups of people that we write about, such as soldiers, is fair and respectful to the people we write about, and does not defame or disrespect anyone written about

Representation How would Representation impact your role as a writer for your double page spread and for your front cover? In order to represent people and parties I am writing about in a fair and respectful way, I have to be very careful about how I describe things, and maybe try to get firsthand knowledge about what I am writing about from people directly involved
