Teaching Point Today I want to teach you how to set up your Reader’s Notebook so that you are prepared to use it as a companion to your book and as a tool in the development of your reading life.

Teaching We will organize our notebooks into 4 major sections: Mini-Lessons Log/Stop & Jot

Teaching We will organize our notebooks into 4 major sections: Mini-Lessons Log/Stop & Jot Write Longs Book Lists/Goals Take out 4 sticky notes. You can use any colors. Turn them upside down so the sticky end is on the bottom. On the top end, neatly write these 4 labels.
