FEATURES • The lateral ventricles are two irregular cavities situated one in each cerebral hemisphere. • Each lateral ventricle communicates with the third ventricle through an interventricular foramen (foramen of Monro). • Each lateral ventricle consists of: 1. A central part 2. Three horns: a. b. c. Anterior Horn Posterior Horn Inferior Horn
