LARIMER COUNTY: ENGINEERING CR 72 FROM US HWY 287 TO CR 21 – TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION ROAD • See Special Provision 621 • Temporary Construction Road: • Must facilitate 2 lanes of traffic for general public use while construction of final subgrade and drainage crossings are ongoing • Can be built in separate phases • Cross Sections in Plans show the temporary road in red linetype generally on the CL Station Left side of road • Includes all earthwork, subgrade prep, shifting existing surface material onto new temporary platform (min. 6 inch thickness), and temporary drainage culvert extensions associated with the initial construction of the temporary road • To be paid 1 Lump Sum for project based on percentage of completed portions at a time • Temporary Construction Road Maintenance: • Estimated to be needed about once per month • Paid by the Square Yard for each completed operation • Dust Palliative required (see Special Provision 209 and 621) • Paid separately by the Gallon
