Benefits to Learners UBELT builds upon the broad objectives of the Northern Ireland Curriculum. In particular, enabling learners to: develop as individuals and contributors to the economy, society and environment develop speaking and writing skills in a modern European language develop an understanding of diversity in the context of learning and working with others develop an understanding of Business Enterprise and the Tourism industry in order to develop work-based skills.

OLA • • • Formerly Graded Objectives in Modern Languages Suitable for KS 3, short courses, enrichment courses Aligned to NI Curriculum Appeals to interests, aspirations and experience of KS 3 pupils Develops communication skills and self-esteem Recognition of Achievement Preparation for GCSE Paper based exam in summer Assessed at centre.
