• Classroom supplies are in the drawers. – Each drawer is labeled – You may get supplies in the PURPLE labeled drawers without permission, or the art supplies in the BLUE drawers. • Just put the materials back when you are finished! – You need to ask permission to get into any of the other drawers and cupboards. • You need to check out a book for it to leave the room. – Just sign the check out card in the back of the book and give it to me.
• Writing paper and writing utensils are in the drawer. –You do not need to ask to get them. Please return the pencils when you are finished with them. • You need to come to class prepared because I will not let you go back to your locker. • Ask if you need supplies, please do not just take something that doesn’t belong to you.
If you have a question or want to contribute to a class discussion, you need to raise your hand wait to be called on to speak. Do not talk without permission.
You need to come to class with all of your needed materials. You will not be allowed to go back to your locker to retrieve anything you have forgotten. This includes your homework and your SSR book on Fridays.
Completing homework on time will ensure success in Language Arts class, as well as making sure you are learning all you need to know.
When the bell rings, you need to immediately stop what you are doing and give the teacher your complete and full attention.
Listening and following instruction will ensure success, eliminate classroom problems, and enable the class to move quickly from one task to another.
