• The master plan is the future outline that will change the whole outlook on Lander University. • Lander will be making changes in the next few years to become bigger and better. • The main goal of the master plan is to bring in more students and to try to become a division I school. What is the “Master Plan”?

• Lander will hopefully increase the size of the student body by 3% by Fall 2013. • Develop, implement and maintain marketing strategies which position Lander for future growth at regional and national levels. • Develop and maintain programs to ensure reasonable academic success for all admitted students. ENROLLMENT

• Will improve the appearance and utility of the campus to serve a larger student body and increase programs of community outreach. • Develop a plan to address diversity issues in the campus community. • Meet information technology needs. • Increase retention of junior faculty and staff members. ENVIRONMENT

• Of course the most popular dorm on campus is Centennial Hall and students would like to see more of this. • Lander is going to tear down the Brookside/Thomason dorms and build more dorms like Centennial Hall. • A new Williamston will be built also. • This construction should start in the summer/fall of 2012. • Lander will turn the inside pool into a new workout facility because of the student increase. • The indoor pool will be covered with concrete. • This will be beneficial for students because of the amount of students who enjoy getting in shape. • Lander will add new technology to each classroom so the students will have better learning experiences. • Teaching and classroom assignments will be using more of the computer and hands on learning compared to the past by studying out of a book. • This will be beneficial for students and teachers. • As you can see Lander University will be making big moves in the future. • We are making changes to not only improve Lander University but improve the whole outlook of Greenwood, SC. • The new era of Lander is coming. We hope you all are ready! The Future is Near
