Land Records and Implementation of RTI in Rajasthan �Rajasthan was the first state to enact and implement RTI Act in 2002. �The Central Act came into force in 2005. 1
Land Records and RTI Frequently Sought Informations �Copies of Notifications, Rules, Circulars, Orders, Directions and Letters. �Copies of Files (Note sheets and Correspondence), Applications, Complaints, Minutes and Enquiry Proceedings etc. �Copies of Jamabandis, Khasra Maps (Record of Rights), Mutations, Divisions are also sought. 2
Availability of Informations �Jamabandis, Khasra Maps (Record of Rights) are available online under “Apna Khata”. �These are also being made available under the Digital India Land Records Management Program (DILRMP). �One Pilot Tehsil is being Digitized in each District on top priority basis. �In 11 districts of first phase Survey/Resurvey work has been started through High Resolution Satellite Imagery (HRSI) Technique. �Computerization of Registration Process (e-panjiyan) has started in 227 out of 527 sub-registrar/tehsil offices. 3
Rajasthan online RTI Portal �Facilitation to citizens with 24 x 7 availability. �Mapping of required functionalities as per RTI Act provisions with complete workflow. �SMS, email integration for timely intimation �Online payment option at all levels of information disbursal. � 18 departments onboard. �Current Statistics: Applications received : 18081 First Appeal : 786 Complaints : 34 visit us @ www. rti. rajasthan. gov. in 4
Other Steps in the Spirit of RTI Act �Nagrik Adhikar Patra for various Departments have been issued. Department of Revenue issued it in 2000. �Rajasthan Guaranteed Delivery of Public Services Act was implemented in 2011. As on date, 166 Services of 19 Departments are being covered under the Act. �Right to Hearing Act, 2012. �Rajasthan Sampark Portal. 5
