LAGOON KNOWLEDGE - FRESH WATER • Where; • Almost all fresh water lagoons are productive • Along shoreline and shaded areas • Under bushes, shrubs, and structures • Look for beds along shoreline in the Spring • Deep cold water pools and sources in hot weather • Lures to use and when; • Morning and evening use top water lures • Crank baits, jigs, artificial worms, grubs • Live bait (minnows, worms) • Fish top, middle and bottom • Vary the action and retrieve speed Bass are predatory fish Look for cold water sources
