Quality of single layer pitch adapters • Two companies – Origami hybrids: Taiyo / PAs: Azuma • Single layer design (Azuma) – pro: thinner, more flexible, easy to bend – contra: • PA 0 has to be glued by us requires dedicated jigs • very small bond pads at APV side • wire bonding needs to be very precise • cover layer of PA 0 peeled off after gluing! • shape of cover layer is not precisely cut 23 July 2012 Christian Irmler (HEPHY Vienna) 3
