Laboratory Equipment Use and Description
Today your goal is to sketch and describe laboratory equipment used in chemistry. Some pieces will be familiar, while others will be less familiar. To start, I will review a few of the pieces of equipment (primarily how they are used) and then you will go to marked location in laboratory to draw and describe the equipment.

Using a Graduated Cylinder You will use a graduated cylinder frequently in chemistry. Watch the demonstration of how to read it properly.

The rest of the story For the remaining pieces of laboratory equipment, I will review with you how to use them when needed by the experiment. Listen to directions and be prepared to create a graphical organizer. The graphic organizer will be projected using the document camera or you may create flash cards.
When completed with task, please show it to me (Dr. Roland) for your completion check mark!!!
