I. HYPOTHESIS Hypothesis: Music will have a significant effect on athletes while running on a treadmill. Independent Variable: Music Three levels: Country, Rap, None Dependent Variables: Overall performance, sweat, focus, heart rate Type of Testing: 1 x 3 Friedman ANOVA by Ranks Ordinal Data → Hypothesis of Difference → Correlated → More than 2 Measures → Friedman ANOVA by Ranks
II. METHOD Decided who my subjects were going to be 3 girls & 2 boys 3 female women's ice hockey players, 2 male football players Materials: Treadmill Playlist of Songs Headphones Athletes Ranking Sheets �Decided on who the subjects would be � 2 girls & 3 boys � 1 female on the track team, 1 female on the soccer team, 1 male on the rugby team, 2 males on the soccer team. �Materials: �Treadmill �Playlist of Songs �Headphones �Athletes �Ranking Sheets
