The ILO MNE Declaration Is ILO’s only instrument with direct recommendations for enterprises, government and social partners Only global tripartite instrument related to labour dimension of business conduct, based on ILS. Balances roles and responsibilities of governments, MNEs, employers and workers’ organizations of host and home countries • encourage positive contribution of MNEs to socioeconomic development • mitigate and resolve negative impacts • rooted in dialogue, including social dialogue/industrial relations

Desafios y oèportunidades Las solicitudes de revisión del mecanismo de interpretación GB de noviembre 2015 solicitó a la Oficina presentar «propuesta de modalidades de revisión de la Declaración EMN» para el año 2016 y definitivamente en marzo GB - 2017 40 aniversario La adopción de una nueva política de promoción en seguimiento de lo acordado en el Consejo de Administración de 2014 Focalizar el enfoque en las relaciones laborales y la sostenibilidad (de los sistemas nacionales de las cadenas de suministro / Relaciones internacionales del trabajo) Promoción de la IFA / AMI, ofreciendo espacio para la negociación
Decisiones del Consejo de Administracion en Marzo 2016 Establecer un grupo tripartito de trabajo especial de ocho miembros en representación de los gobiernos, cuatro miembros de los trabajadores y cuatro miembros de los empresarios, que se reunirá dos veces antes de marzo de 2017 para examinar el texto de la Declaración sobre las EMN Solicitar al Director General que la Oficina preste todo el apoyo necesario a los constituyentes.
