Simile Definition: Is when you compare 2 things using “like” or “as”
Example 1 Wise as an owl.
Example 2 As snug as a bug in a rug.
Example 3 Life is like a box of chocolate you never know what you are going to get. Gross I hate this chocolate! I never knew this was coming to me!
Alliteration Definition: When 2 or more nearby words have the same beginning sound.
Example 1 Pete the penguin likes pizza and pickles.
Example 2 Carrie’s cat clawed her couch, creating chaos.
