Value of Internships and Networking to Get Your HR Career Started Matthew Mayabb, Chief of Staff
Matt Mayabb is a Chief of Staff at Care. More and Aspire Health, subsidiaries of Anthem, Inc. In his current position, he is responsible for strategic planning, organizational effectiveness, and driving business performance across multiple products and markets in the East region. About Our Speaker Prior to joining Care. More and Aspire Health in early 2020, he was with Humana for over 13 years where he gained breadth of experience across multiple domains, including facets of HR such as sales incentive compensation and executive learning and development. Other functions he worked in while at Humana include corporate strategy, data governance, Medicaid business development, and service operations. Matt was uniquely positioned to enter the workforce after receiving his undergraduate degree from Bellarmine University as a result of internship experience gained while studying full-time. He earned an MBA degree from Auburn University and a graduate certification in learning & organizational change from Northwestern University.
