Grading Students will receive grades based on skill/concept assessments, readiness for class/activity, participation, and respect for others. Throughout the week students are expected to earn ten points per day that will go into a weekly readiness assessment grade. The readiness assessment point breakdown is as follows: 1 point for proper footwear/tennis shoes (boots, open/closed toe sandals, wedges, heels, flip flops, dress shoes, flats are not considered proper footwear) 2 points for wearing pe uniform shirt, 2 points for wearing pe uniform shorts, 2 points for participating in dynamic warm-ups 3 points for participating and completing the activity for today. In addition to receiving a daily readiness assessment grade students will receive a 5 point daily activity grade that will not be weighted as an assessment grade, but a participation grade. At the end of every unit students will be given either a skill based or written assessment that correlates with content taught throughout that unit.
