Introduction • Red Tacton was developed on 30 Aug 2005 at NTT by a 7 persons team led by Yuitchi Kado in Atsugi, in West of Tokyo. • Red Tacton chips will be embedded in machines and contain a transmitter and receiver built to send accept data stored in digital format.

• Red- Warmth, T-Touch , Acton-Action. • Human Area Networking technology. • Uses the minute electric field emitted on the surface of the human body as a safe high speed network transmission path.

• A transmission path is formed at the moment a part of the human body comes in contact with a Red Tacton transceiver. • Communication is possible using any body surfaces, such as the hands, feet, fingers, arms, face, legs or torso. • Red Tacton works through shoes and clothing as well.
