Kumara Package • Tourism Infrastructure Fund 2018 • Community initiative promoted by Kumara Residents Trust & Kumara Sportsground Committee on behalf of the Kumara community. • To support Westland District Council’s application to the Tourism Infrastructure Fund (TIF) 2018.
What is Tourism Infrastructure Fund (TIF)? • TIF supports local communities facing pressure from tourism growth, for example areas with high visitor numbers but small ratepayer bases. • Each bid to the TIF must be at least $100, 000 in value. • To meet the $100, 000 value, the Kumara Residents Trust & Kumara Sportsground Committee have suggested this ‘package’ to the Council. • The Council has asked for feedback from the Kumara community about this package

Taylors Hill car park • Tidy and seal the current footprint • Create up to 8 angle reverse parked vehicle spaces. • As per Chinese Reserve resource consent
