Korey Michael Sliwa age 22 of Houghton Lake

Korey Michael Sliwa age 22; of Houghton Lake passed away on Friday September 2, 2011. Korey was born on December 15, 1988 in West Branch to Michael & Teresa (Fuller) Sliwa. He lived in the Houghton Lake area most of his life. Korey was loved and will be greatly missed.

You will be missed Korey, even though we weren’t as close now as we used to be in our younger days, we still share some great memories. I still remember the time when me and you were only about 10 years old, and were in charge of the spinning wheel at tip-up town. We both kinda rigged the numbers so that way we both could get some of those cool little fishing poles. Its times like these that make you appreciate a person for who they really are and not how others look apon you. You always will be missed man. I'm sorry that it had to end this way, but we all know that you are in a better place now. May peace be with you. Always

Correy Joseph Szyska, 18, Houghton Lake, died March 13, 2010. Mr. Szyska was born Sept. 15, 1991, in Grayling. He grew up and attended school at Houghton Lake. He worked for Vander. Wal Farms of Merritt. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed riding horses and hunting. He was a member of the Houghton Lake Sportsman Club.
