KYRENE ATHLETIC FEE • Must be paid online – where you registered for tryouts • Due by 11/20/19 • Please talk to Ms. Pam if you are unable to pay by this date

SPORTSMANSHIP • This is cheer, it’s especially important! • At practice • At games • With officials • With each other (NO DRAMA!) • Players/coaches • Concerns/complaints • Fellow classmates

REPRESENT KMS! • Remember, it is a privilege to represent your school through extracurricular activities • Exceptional behavior is expected at all times during practice and at school, especially while wearing your cheer uniform! In doing so, you are representing your coaches and your fellow cheerleaders • Passing grades are required to participate in practice and games – D’s = practice only NO games – F’s = NO practice or games

UNIFORMS – SHELL, AND SKIRT PROVIDED Game Attire • Shell, skirt and – bow ($12. 00) • Black Bloomers • White Socks • White Athletic Shoes Cheer Wear (Optional) • We will be ordering these through Jenn at AZ All Stars, more information will be coming in regards to these – Parents/guardians are responsible for buying the bow, bloomers, socks and shoes

GAME DAYS • We attend all HOME basketball games • Game days are Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays • Game Day Attire (at school): cheer uniform • Students must be at practice the morning of games and in school to participate in games

PRACTICE & GAME SCHEDULE Practices: • Monday-Thursday 7: 00 – 7: 50 AM (NO AM practice on AZ All Stars Days) Home Games: • When the schedule has been finalized, we will make sure to post the home game dates, all cheerleaders need to stay for both games for the halftime performance and team unity.

PRACTICE – Morning practices will be in the gym – Cheerleaders should arrive at KMS by 6: 55 AM so we can promptly start at 7: 00 AM – Unexcused absences or being late to practices/games will result in loss of game time cheering – Gym shoes, shorts, t-shirts and/or sweats should be worn at practice. No jeans please. KMS dress code applies at practice! – If absent, a PARENT must let one of the coaches know, please call or text one of us to let us know.

AZ ALL-STARS GYM • $60. 00 per cheerleader, this is mandatory, the payment link is on the cheer announcement page. • We need parent volunteers to help transport students to AZ All Stars, please sign up on the sign up genius if you can help, THANK YOU!!! • Parents must pick up their cheerleader from the gym after practice • Dates: we will be adding another day or 2 – 11/14 – 12/05 – 12/12 – 01/09 – 01/23

KYRENE DISTRICT CHEER SHOWCASE • Thursday, January 30 th , 2020 • Corona Del Sol High School • 5: 00 PM • Bus will transport girls to CDS, but will NOT bring back to KMS

PARENT/GUARDIAN VOLUNTEERS –AZ All Stars transportation after school –Game day snacks/drinks for girls –Snacks for before showcase * I will make a sign up genius

DONATIONS NEEDED – We need concession stand donations for our home games. Popular items include water bottles, Gatorade, small bags of chips, snacks, etc… – All money made goes towards the end of year banquet with families!
