AZ EAGLES DISTANCE LEARNING Keystone has created a program for implementing distance learning based on the structure of our normal school day as a means for continuing your child’s education while at home. The AZ Eagles Distance Learning option incorporates the potential for continued distance learning with ongoing opportunities for your child to fully participate in the adolescent experience. The platforms we are choosing for this are Google Classroom and Zoom as well as one-on-one meetings when necessary and communication with parents via email, text or phone. 2

A weekly schedule will be posted on Google Calendar and Google Classroom. • Provide virtual and physical materials • Detail clear expectations of students • Expect consistent student accountability (attendance and work completion) • Allow flexibility regarding screen time, based on individual family needs • Ensure that students are progressing through the curriculum 3

ZOOM Our daily schedule is created in a way that will engage your child in a full day of activity with breaks for snack, lunch, and recess, or as necessary. Students should be prepared for a full school day (8: 15 am – 2: 45 pm). Using Zoom, we will facilitate the following: Classroom meetings and presentations Small Group or individual workshops Small Group Breakouts Art, Spanish, Yoga & Music Specials Advisory meetings 4

This will include, but is not limited to: • Binder • Filling papers (lined and quad) • Seminar books • Mathematics and Science textbooks and workbooks • English Language Arts textbooks and workbooks • Journal writing book • Humanities and Occupations materials • General school supplies *Students may choose their own sketchbooks for Art 10
