NOTE: Black stylus attached to analyzer should be used to select buttons rather than pressing with finger. 5 Turn on light if desired by pressing “more” button, then “light”, then “off” (button toggles to “on”), then “close”. 6 Press “use cell 1” button. 7 Press appropriate sample type button e. g. Jet (-20°C) or Diesel (40°C). 8 Using virtual keyboard, type in sample name, description and user name. 9 Press “start test” button – you will be prompted to load viscometer with sample. 10 Open door to JETVISC. 11 Unscrew the filling station cap (white teflon cap on top of JETVISC) and place to the side. NOTE: Bath temperature should be checked periodically using a calibrated thermometer or PT-100 digital probe. 16 Upon completion of testing, viscometer will go through a cleaning and drying cycle in preparation for next test. IMPORTANT: If instrument requires being shutdown, press “more” button then “shutdown”, then “yes”. Never use red button to shutdown! Once shutdown process is complete, analyzer may be unplugged.
