When were Orca’s discovered? �Orca’s were discovered in 1558 in Bay of Greifswald. �Konrad Gessner wrote the first scientific description of a Killer Whale in “Fish Book”. �The book was based on an examination of a dead stranded animal in the Bay of Greifswald. �Killer Whales originated from all the oceans there is not a specific place. �Killer Whales are part of the dolphin family which was first appeared 11 million years ago.
