The marks used to indicate changes are symbols, or shortcuts, that represent corrections to errors and changes you want to make before you recopy your work. • This can help you by saving you a lot of time when retyping a rough draft. • The following slides show some of the most common proofreader’s marks used. •
Capitalize a letter or word this symbol is used to change a letter or word to a capital letter.
