Know your Environment � � � Be aware of the particular threats in the environment where you are living, traveling or operating Know the baseline so you can identify abnormalities Be familiar with the modus operandi of threat groups and actors

Maintain Awareness � � It’s critical to maintain a base level of awareness whenever

Maintain Awareness � � It’s critical to maintain a base level of awareness whenever you are in public and even in your residence This should be a passive awareness of what is going on around you, who is near you, etc. This should not mentally exhaust you or require undue focus It’s important to limit distractions such as mobile phone, texting, etc.
