Microsoft Word WORD WRAP: When text in a document reaches a certain area, the writing and text flows automatically to the next line on the left SERIF: Formal font that is easier to read and that have cross-strokes at the end of letters SANS SERIF: Don’t have serifs/cross-strokes, making such fonts more casual and useful for headings. TYPEFACE: A specific set of characters that are designed the same. NEWSPAPER: Text flows down a column and automatically starts at the next column to the right
Publisher Alignment: When text or pictures are aligned in a certain direction such as center, left, or right Auto. Shapes: Shapes that can be inserted via the insert and shape path and can be modified for shadow, colour etc Shadow: To make text or images have a shadow with variants that can make the shadow wide, dark etc Grouping objects: When 2 or more objects are selected and are grouped together as one object Drop Cap: A large capital letter at the beginning of text that has the depth of minimum 2 lines of text
Excel MAX Formula: The formula used in excel to calculate the maximum value of 2 or more cells and places the max value in the cell where the formula was typed into. MIN Formula: The formula used in excel to calculate the minimum value of 2 or more cells and puts the value in the cell where the formula was typed into SUM Formula: The formula used in excel that calculates the sum of 2 or more cells and places the sum in the cell where the formula was typed in PRODUCT Formula: The formula used in excel that calculates the product of 2 or more cells and places the product in the cell where the formula was typed in IF Statement: A function where a logical test is initiated and 2 different values depending on the logical test being true or false will be outputted in the cell where the if statement was written
