What is Social Mobility? The movement of an individual or group from one social position to another over time GOAL To focus on increasing our mobility as a company to accommodate and reach people in EVERY area around us. Primary Focus With the help of the community, we can support this movement to provide a means of transportation to everyone.
Phase I: Determine Our Current Transportation Status Currently we service one route: Salisbury MD to Selbyville, DE This current route does not accommodate the employees in Sussex County or Surrounding areas at all!!!!!!!
Phase II: Select Outreach Expansion Areas Our Selbyville, DE location employs team members from all of Sussex County, North of Sussex County and North and South of Salisbury MD. Where is there opportunity: MD, DE and VA New Routes will include: RT. 113 South to North- New Church, VA, Pocomoke, MD, Snow Hill, MD, Berlin, MD to Selbyville, DE and another route from Princess Anne, MD (13 N or 113 S Route to be determined for Princess Anne, MD) New Routes will include: North to SE 13 to 54 to Plant – Route will cover Seaford, Laurel and Delmar

Punctuality- Providing a shuttle service encourages employees to be on time Environmentally Friendly- Less people on the road Savings - For most employees the commute to our location is well over 30 mins providing this service means less money spent on gas and vehicles services

The pros outweigh the cons.
How does this benefit our community? Environment– Less air pollution and increased fuel efficiency Traffic– The more people that commute the less congestion Financially-For every dollar invested in public transportation, approximately $4 in economic returns generated, and for every $1 billion in investments in the sector, 50, 000 jobs are created and supported. Savings- People who choose public transportation over their personal vehicle can save more than $9, 000 a year Safer- Increases mobility, saves time, frees up time and encourages exercise by increasing walks to and from stops
Transportation Outreach Movement Homelessness in the area goes unnoticed but we see a lot of it from the people we employ. 30% of our workforce is forced to resign due to transportation problems and no support to relieve the stress that comes with that work life balance. We can help stop this by providing people with meaningful paying jobs and with resources they can use to truly help them. Providing transportation for our entire community is just the right thing to do.
