The Assassination John Fitzgerald Kennedy was assassinated on November 22 nd, 1963 in Dallas, Texas while riding in a motorcade through Dealey plaza. The shots rang out from the Texas School Book Depository, a total of three shots. The first bullet hit Kennedy in the back of the neck, the second bullet hit Governor Connaly in the back, and the third shot hit kennedy in the back of the head completely dismantling his face. Later on, Lee Harvey Oswald was arrested for the murder. A film of the assassination was filmed by Abraham Zapruder as the motorcade was passing through Dealey plaza.
Evidence The Murder Weapon The murder weapon was a 6. 5× 52 mm Carcano Model 91/38 infantry rifle purchased by mail using the alias ‘’A. Hiddel’’. The gun was found on the sixth floor of the depository with oswald’s fingerprints on it. There was a picture of oswald in his backyard holding the exact weapon. The warren commission soon came to the conclusion that the murder weapon did belong to oswald. Oswald was in the depository At the time of the shooting, Oswald was on the sixth floor of the depository. He was soon caught by a police officer leaving the crime scene. The officer stopped Oswald when he seen him scurrying away from what looked like where the bullets were fired from. The officer was shot and killed by Oswald as he was running away. They proved the murder using the radio in the squad car. https: //www. youtube. com/watch? v=n. Xdj-OSZFPk The placement of the bullets in kennedy’s head The autopsy pathologists consistently claimed that there was an entry wound low down on the back of President Kennedy’s skull. There was also a large wound, the location of which was variously described as toward the top, right and rear of the skull. All of these locations of the supposed exit wound are higher than the entry wound, and are incompatible with a shot coming from above and behind at an angle of about 10°– 15° to the horizontal, given the inclination of Kennedy’s head at the moment of the fatal shot or shots, which is shown on frame 312 and 313 of the Zapruder film.
