Kate Kemper St Louis Cardinals No 1 Fan

Kate Kemper: St. Louis Cardinals’ No. 1 Fan Kate Kemper is one extraordinary girl. Kate is going to be a senior this fall at Kirkwood High school in St. Louis, Mo. Growing up in St. Louis sparked her undying love for her hometown baseball team, the St. Louis Cardinals. You will be sure to see Kate watching every game no matter where she is. She explains, “When the Cardinals were in the World Series, I would listen to the game on the radio before doing my homework, so I wouldn’t get my homework done until late at night. That’s how much I love the Cardinals. ” Even while attending the Summer Scholars program, she was still sure to tune in to watch her favorite team take the win. From a very young age, Kate has had a passion for sports. Besides the Cardinals, she also follows football teams such as the Chicago Bears and the New York Giants. Kate also has played sports herself. Her favorite sport to play was volleyball, which she played for seven years. Many believe Kate to be the Cardinals No. 1 fan. When she attends Cardinals’ games, she gets the best seats in the house. Since Kate uses a wheelchair, she sits in a section that provides plenty of legroom and a great view. “I have so much room, I could bring my own lazyboy chair!” she said. When she cannot attend a game, she supports the team from the nearest television. On game days she gets decked out in all of her St. Louis gear, showing Kate Kemper heads back to her dorm room in Etheridge Hall with a little help from her friend Magdalena love for her favorite team.
