Beispiele und Tipps (Examples and Tips) • Holger ist vierzehn Jahre alt. – Names can be tricky for students to recognize; just remember that they are always capitalized. – Remember too that whether the person is male or female doesn’t matter when conjugating the verb. • Tara und Ahmet sind sechzehn Jahre alt. – Watch for two names in one sentence.
