Standard #1 Choices Have Consequences ü The student will evaluate significant choices and their impacts throughout history. ü Analyze the context under which the choices were made. ü Investigate examples of consequences and connect them to contemporary issues ü The student will use understanding to construct a decision making process.

Standard #2 Individuals have rights and responsibilities Ø Recognize and evaluate the rights and responsibilities of living in a society. Ø Analyze the context under which rights and responsibilities are defined. Ø Investigate specific rights and responsibilities of individuals Ø The student will use their understanding of rights and responsibilities to address contemporary issues.
