Dedication Page I would like to dedicate this book to Kale, one of the best book buddies I have ever had in all my years at Hillcrest. You are really cool and stuff.
There was once a really awesome monkey named kale. Kale always wore his favourite blue sweater.
Kale had a friend named Zac always wore a white sweater.
One day Kale and Zac went to the park to go on the swings.
It was a nice day to go to the park. Birds were singing and there was a small breeze.
When Kale and Zac got to the park they saw another monkey named Abe.
He was wearing a black sweater and was swinging on the swings like crazy.
Kale and Zac went over to talk to him. Abe said he loved bananas. Abe thought Kale and Zac were very cool.
Abe wanted to be their friend. Kale wanted to be Abe’s friend.
Abe asked Kale and Zac if they wanted to be his friends. They said yes. Kale asked if Abe wanted to be his friend and he said yes.
So Kale, Zac and their new friend Abe, went to Kale’s house to play video games and eat bananas.
