KEY BIBLE VERSE: EXODUS 3: 1014 • Exo 3: 10 Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt. • Exo 3: 11 And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt? • Exo 3: 12 And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be a token unto thee, that I have sent thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain. • Exo 3: 13 And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? • Exo 3: 14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

MOSES’ FIRST EXCUSE: WHO AM I? • Exo 3: 11 And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt? • God's answer: I will be with thee • Exo 3: 12 And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be a token unto thee, that I have sent thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain.

MOSES’ FIRST EXCUSE: WHO AM I? Esther 4: 14 For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this? ”

MOSES’ SECOND EXCUSE: WHAT SHALL I SAY? • Exo 3: 13 And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? • God's answer: I AM THAT I AM have sent you • Exo 3: 14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

MOSES’ SECOND EXCUSE: WHAT SHALL I SAY? Mark 13: 11 Whenever you are arrested and brought to trial, do not worry beforehand about what to say. Just say whatever is given you at the time, for it is not you speaking, but the Holy Spirit.

MOSES’ THIRD EXCUSE: THEY WILL NOT BELIEVE ME • Exo 4: 1 Moses answered, “What if they do not believe me or listen to me and say, ‘The Lord did not appear to you’? ” • God's answer: I give you special power • Exo 4: 2 And the LORD said unto him, What is that in thine hand?
