Students must successfully complete one of the following diploma options: • 24 -credit standard diploma • 18 -credit Academically Challenging Curriculum to Enhance Learning (ACCEL) option • Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE) curriculum • International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma curriculum What are the state assessment requirements? Students must pass the following statewide assessments: • Grade 10 ELA (or ACT/SAT concordant score) • Algebra I end-of-course (EOC) or a comparative score on the Postsecondary Education Readiness Test (P. SLS 1101: The College Experience SPC Dual Enrollment course offered on Dunedin High School’s campus. This course is designed to strengthen skills essential to success in college, with further applications to post-college plans. Included are study and testtaking strategies; effective interpersonal skills; time management skills; creative and critical thinking skills; college services and resources. The class will be offered both DURING the school day or AFTER school. In order to take the class, you must have a min. 2. 5 unweighted GPA and taken all 3 parts (reading, writing and math) of the PERT test. If interested, have student bring their SPC ID number and time preference to their school counselor if this has not been done, yet.

PTEC Dual Enrollment High school students attending Pinellas Technical College (PTC) have the opportunity to be dual enrolled in post-secondary courses tuition free! These courses give students credits toward a high school diploma and a career technical certificate. Hours completed at PTC may also transfer as credit hours to local and state colleges.
