WELCOME to JUNIOR HEV SCHOOLS MODEL UNITED KEMERK NATIONS ÖY 2008

What is MUN? It is a system of student conferences: n imitating the real United Nations Organisation; n organised for students and run by students; n held in schools and universities worldwide; n lasting for 1, 2, 3 or more days; n working in English.

You will be a member of a team. Together with eight or nine school friends, your team will represent one of these UN members or observers: The United Kingdom of The. What do we do at a conference? In teams, we work in committees and we : n n n research important problems for the country we represent (it is never our own country); ask the United Nations to improve our country and the world; help the UN to help other countries and create a better world for the future.

What are these committees ?
