I’ve found a friend in Jesus, He’s everything to me, He’s the fairest of ten thousand to my soul; The Lily of the Valley, in Him alone I see All I need to cleanse and make me fully whole.
In sorrow He’s my comfort, in trouble He’s my stay; He tells me every care on Him to roll.
He’s the Lily of the Valley, the Bright and Morning Star, He’s the Fairest of Ten Thousand to my soul.
He all my grief has taken, and all my sorrows borne; In temptation He’s my strong and mighty tow’r; I’ve all for Him forsaken, and all my idols torn From my heart and now He keeps me by His power.
Though all the world forsake me, and Satan tempt me sore, Through Jesus I shall safely reach the goal.
He’s the Lily of the Valley, the Bright and Morning Star, He’s the Fairest of Ten Thousand to my soul.
He’ll never, never leave me, nor yet forsake me here, While I live by faith and do His blessed will; A wall of fire about me, I’ve nothing now to fear,
From His manna He my hungry soul shall fill. Then sweeping up to glory to see His blessed face, Where rivers of delight shall ever roll.
He’s the Lily of the Valley, the Bright and Morning Star, He’s the Fairest of Ten Thousand to my soul.

Walk a Little Plainer, Daddy
“Walk a little plainer, daddy, ” Said a little child so frail. “I’m following in your footsteps, And I don’t want to fail.
Sometimes your steps are very plain, Sometimes they’re hard to see. So walk a little plainer daddy, For you are leading me. ”
“I know that once you walked this way A long, long time ago; And what you did along the way I’d really like to know.
For sometimes, when I am confused, I don’t know what to do. So walk a little plainer daddy, – So I can follow you. ”
“Some day when I’m grown up, You’re like I want to be; Then I will have a little child Who will want to follow me.
And I would want to train her right, And help her to be true. So walk a little plainer, daddy, For we must follow you. ”

Living a Godly Legacy • Stand firm in your faith • Guard your heart
20 My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words. 21 Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; 22 for they are life to those who find them and health to one’s whole body. 23 Above all else, guard your heart, heart for everything you do flows from it. Proverbs 4: 20 -23

Living a Godly Legacy
16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. 17 God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work. 2 Timothy 3: 16 -17
Living a Godly Legacy TEMPTED
There has no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, Who will not suffer you to be tempted above that you are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that you may be able to bear it. 1 Corinthians 10: 13

19 You shall teach them to your children, talking of them when you are sitting in your house, and when you are walking by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.
20 You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates, 21 that your days and the days of your children may be multiplied in the land that the Lord swore to your fathers to give them, as long as the heavens are above the earth. Deuteronomy 11: 19 -21

What Next? 21 Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. 22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. James 1: 21 -22

How Deep the Father’s Love
How deep the Father’s love for us How vast beyond all measure That He should give His only Son To make a wretch His treasure
How great the pain of searing loss The Father turns His face away As wounds which mar the Chosen One Bring many sons to glory
Behold the Man upon a cross My sin upon His shoulders Ashamed, I hear my mocking voice Call out among the scoffers
It was my sin that held Him there Until it was accomplished His dying breath has brought me life I know that it is finished
I will not boast in anything No gifts, no power, no wisdom But I will boast in Jesus Christ His death and resurrection
Why should I gain from His reward? I cannot give an answer But this I know with all my heart His wounds have paid my ransom
