Inaugurated in 2012, this stage was created to give young folk musicians, dancers, and storytellers a chance to perform in front of an audience and hone their craft.
The Festival includes emerging and local acts, and uses venues in the neighbouring area. Nightly square dances were added to the program in 2016.
In 2013, the Festival created an annual youth bursary to support young musicians who wish to further their study or practice of music.
Homegrown talent is given centre stage with 10+ local food kiosks, 25+ local craft vendors, and local beer & wine.
In 2015, a free bike valet service was introduced to encourage people to come to the Festival by bike. In 2013, the Festival made the switch to reusable glasses, significantly reducing waste.
