July 2009 doc. : IEEE 802. 18 -09 -0080 -00 -0000 IEEE 802. 18 IMT Advanced Update • At the June meeting WP 5 D approved revision 9 to ITU-R Recommendation M. 1457 – This revision was controversial – France and Germany objected to add 802. 16 FDD and CDMA TDD modes – Germany has said they do not object to the approval but maintained a “reservation” – France had no support – Revision 9 will go to the December meeting of SG 5 for approval – and then be sent for approval by correspondence by Administrations Submission Michael Lynch, MJ Lynch & Associates
