July 2004 doc. : IEEE 802. 18 -04 -0036 -00 -0000 Report on July Plenary Meeting • Much work towards shepherding PAR to the EC for approval • Reviewed and approved a. 16 document intended as a contribution to ITU-R WP 9 B • Reviewed FCC NPRM on unlicensed use of unused TV channels – Created a high level “bullet point outline” sort of annotation as the basis for a first draft – Will have to complete the document by correspondence and conference call meetings (filing deadline is not until Sept. 01) • Reviewed input from the. 11 5 Ghz ad hoc (protection criteria) • Material was received late Thursday as 3 separate documents – Unable to complete combination of material into a single coherent document suitable for final approval and submission in available time – Will have to complete the document by correspondence and conference call meetings (filing deadline is not until Sept. 01) Submission Carl R.
