JUDGEMENT GOOD JUDGEMENT GOD’S JUDGEMENT

1 Peter 4 n 5 But they will have to give account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. n 7 The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray. n 11 If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.

2 Corinthians 5 5 Now the one who has fashioned us for this very purpose is God, who has given us the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come. n 9 So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad. n 11 Since, then, we know what it is to fear the Lord, we try to persuade others. n

14 For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that One died for all, and therefore all died. 15 And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again. n 20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. n 21 God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God. n

1 Corinthians 15: 22 For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. n n John 4: 13 -14 Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life. ” n

Acts 17: 31 For (GOD) He has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. n He has given proof of this to everyone by raising Him from the dead. ” n

“Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, ' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. "Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name? ' "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!” (Matt 7 v 21 -23)

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ…. ” 2 Cor 5: 10

No Escape! How shall we escape if we ignore such a great salvation? This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him. Hebrews 2: 3

For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat. It is written: “‘As surely as I live, ’ says the Lord, ‘every knee will bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God. ’” So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God. (Romans 14 v 10 b-12)

When? n As He decides man’s time on Earth is over n For as the lightning flashes in the east and shines to the west, so it will be when the Son of Man comes - Matthew 24: 27 n When we arrived at our guaranteed appt. n Man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment - Hebrews 9: 27 (MD – radio sceptic)

When you see all these things, you can know his return is very near, right at the door. – Matt 24: 33

The Judgment Day The Summons èEvery single person - Great & small – ÷ All in the graves - Jn 5: 28, 29; ÷ All made alive - 1 Cor 15: 22, ÷ All nations - Mat 25: 32, 33; ÷ The world - Acts 17: 31; ÷ Each of us - Rom 14: 10 -12; ÷ Must all appear - 2 Cor. 5: 10 ÷ No escape – Heb 2: 3
