Average Job Salary Starting out in journalism, you will only make $28, 000 to $50, 000 annually As you rise up in journalism, you can make $60, 000 to $90, 000 a year Working hourly, you can make anywhere from $18 to $40 an hour

Some jobs, such as novelists & poets, usually write to express themselves and their emotions.
