Joseph was the youngest of 11 brothers. Big family, right?

It's sounds like fun to have such a big family but Joseph it wasn't. His older brothers didn't like him. He was his father's favorite and they were jealous. Their father gave Joseph a special coat. This made his brothers hate him even more.

One day Joseph went to find his brothers who were looking after the sheep. They had gone a long way from home to find new grass for them to eat.

When they saw Joseph coming they decided to make a plan to take revenge on their brother.

They decided to catch Joseph and sell as a slave.

Joseph was taken far away to Egypt. But Joseph worked hard and soon he was loved by many people there. They loved him so much that they made him a ruler. Then one day, there was a famine and Josephs brother's came to Egypt to buy food. Who do you think they met there? Yes, Joseph!

Of course Joseph could have been angry with them for treating him so badly but instead do you know what he did? He forgave them. He remembered what they had done but he chose not to be angry and just love them.
