Treasurer Responsibilities • 5 – 20 hours per week • Maintain accurate record of receipts and payments (Quickbooks) • Available to collect funds and make deposits during banking hours • Track activities against the budget • Present financial statements prior to board and general membership meetings
Treasurer Responsibilities • Ensures check approval process meets SOP guidelines • Collects money from committee members during fundraising events • Facilitates end of year audit • Prepares financial annual report • Submits PTA’s form 990 to the IRS
