Specification - Precise temperature control in the different parts of test bench during cryogenic tests. - The resistance temperature sensors (Pt 100, TVO) are being used as a thermometers. - The quantity of sensors (~25), their location and characteristics depends on type of the test session. The thermometry system should provide: 1. Temperature data acquisition and storage in the 24 x 7 x 365 x 5 mode; 2. Temperature data mapping in the graphs, tables and mnemonic diagrams; 3. Stored temperature data viewing and exporting; 4. Easy configuration; NEC’ 2015 Georgy Sedykh, JINR

Hardware 1. Resistance temperature sensors: - TVO. Range: 1 kΩ (293 K) – 4. 5 kΩ (4 K); - Pt 100. Range: 100 Ω (293 K) – 7 Ω (4 K); 2. NI PXI-8820 system controller; 3. NI PXIe-4357 Data Acquisition for RTD Measurements (24 bit, 20 channels); 4. Precise current sources - 20 µA for TVO; - 500 µA for Pt 100; Advantages: 1. High precision; 2. High level of interference suppression in 50 Hz; NEC’ 2015 Georgy Sedykh, JINR
Software. Tango device-servers: § ADC data acquisition module (PXI modules control, data acquisition, data filtering); § Temperature calculation module; § Database storage access module; § System configuration module; § Data export module (Excel, SQL); § Tango modules for web access (REST, Web. Socket, Web. Auth); Advantages: 1. Easy management; 2. Easy extension; 3. Easy implementation to the NICA control system; NEC’ 2015 Georgy Sedykh, JINR
Software. Database § Experiments data storage; § Configuration storage (information about session, sensors, hardware); Advantage: • System configuration for the new test session can be performed by the operator through the special configuration tool; NEC’ 2015 Georgy Sedykh, JINR
Software. Client application Web application providing operator interface Advantages: 1. Flexible design (web desktop); 2. Access from any device in local network (PC, tablet); 3. No additional software (only web browser); NEC’ 2015 Georgy Sedykh, JINR
Software. Web client application. Table Mnemonic diagram Data viewing NEC’ 2015 Line chart Georgy Sedykh, JINR
Tango web tools § Web. Socket. DS - to read Tango attributes through Web. Sockets; § Rest. DS - to provide access to Tango control system units through http(s) requests (Ajax); § Tango. Web. Auth - to provide web access control; tangodevel. jinr. ru NEC’ 2015 Georgy Sedykh, JINR
Summary: 1. Standalone thermometry system for superconducting magnets test bench; 2. Prototype for the NICA thermometry system; 3. Precision of the voltage drop across the sensor measurement ~ 10µV per 80 m. V scale. (~0. 0125%); 4. User-friendly flexible web client application; 5. Toolbox consist of Tango web tools (WS, REST) with Java. Script web framework (like Ext. JS) can be used for developing other control system client applications. Current work: 1. Extend the system to 6 shoulders (currently 2); 2. New powerfull server Supermicro (for data storage); 3. New configuration tool (for operator’s pleasure); NEC’ 2015 Georgy Sedykh, JINR
