If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you. ” § Either of the world or chosen out of it! § “If” as is the case (1 st class conditional) § “If you were” implies “you are not” Gospel of Grace Fellowship ggf. church 1
