Cascais ü The PAYT systems implementation tends to be an expensive initiative. Our waste management model only allows for collective collection. ü Cascais already has a very innovative waste management system, which makes it impossible to withstand the financial and technical changes that an individual system will bring. ü Therefore, the best solution will be to adapt the current waste management system to a collective PAYT model in order to take advantage of our innovative technology and avoid an increase in costs that we are not prepared to support.
