Jingold was founded in 2001 when a group of leading companies in the fresh fruit sector in Emilia – Romagna was awarded worldwide exclusivity for the production and marketing of Jintao, a yellow flesh kiwifruit variety. Today Jingold represents: – Over 300 farms producing Jingold kiwifruits – 800 Ha under cultivation in Italy, Chile and France – 5 producing and marketing organizations in Italy, 6 in Chile e 1 in France – 1 only trade office 2

• Jingold is the leader of gold - flesh kiwifruits production in the Northen emisphere • The cultivated areas are limited and under Jingold’s control, according to the market request

Continuity of supply • The production development, both in the northen and southern hemisphere, ensures a costant supply of Jingold for 12 months a year on the market. 4

Quality • A qualified technical management assistance and an efficient control system, from the fields until pack houses and distribution, guarantee to the Jingold kiwi consumer a high and uniform quality standard. • All producers must observe very strict production and packaging rules contained into the Jingold growers disciplinary.

Quality control • Multiresidual analysis – 33% of the farms controlled every year, all farms controlled every 3 years, and one additional control every 500 tons packed. • Organoleptic quality – All lots sold are controlled by qualified personnel in order to ensure compliance with organoleptic characteristics – At least once a week a third party supervisor controls the product packed by each packing-house
